“The team at ShotPro are wonderful. They travelled to regional NSW for our local government project and worked with a range of community members to show off our town. Great directors - they really got the best out of our subjects.”

Short documentaries generally start around $15,000 + GST. Longer films with several subjects, travel or an extended shooting period run well beyond that, and series are priced per episode. Story dictates scale more than any other format we make.
Longer than a commercial, and that is the point. 6 to 12 weeks is typical for a short film including research, access and interviews. Films that follow events as they unfold take as long as the story does.
A documentary a brand backs because the story deserves telling: an origin story, a cause, a community. The brand is present honestly, and done well it earns more trust than advertising can.
Research and trust before a camera appears. People only tell you the real thing once they believe you will treat it carefully.
As long as the story holds. Ours run from 90 seconds to 16 minutes.
Yes. Series formats often earn more attention than one long film, because each episode brings the audience back.
Both. Short documentaries built for social, and longer films made to be sat with. Same research, different amount of room in the edit.
The film plus trailers, cutdowns, vertical edits, captions and stills. Festival or broadcast masters delivered to spec where needed.
Tell us the story you think is there and who has access to it. The first conversation is usually about whether it is genuinely a documentary or better served as another format, and we will say so.
